To mark the birth date of the celebrated Belfast-born poet John Hewitt, three of Ireland’s most popular, award-winning poets give a reading in the pub named after him.
Dublin-based poet, editor and publisher, Pat Boran has published five collections of poetry. His most recent is The Next Life. He received the 2008 Lawrence O’Shaughnessy Poetry Award.
Cork-born Theo Dorgan is a poet and prose writer. His poetry collections include Sappho’s Daughter, What This Earth Cost Us and Greek.
Anne-Mare Fyfe, born in Co Antrim and now based in London, has published four poetry collections, including Understudies: New & Collected Poems.
