Inspired by John Hewitt’s poem Jacob and the Angel this year’s theme promotes Hewitt’s view of building a better future for all.
“I will not pause to struggle with my past
locked in an angry posture with a ghost
but striding forward”
The first of the anniversary talks will take place in the Canada Room, Queens University from 10.30am to 12 Noon on Wednesday 26th April 2017.
Professor Marianne Elliott will speak on the topic
“Sectarianism – The Ghost of the Peace Process.”
