Join us for the John Hewitt annual public lecture delivered in partnership with The John Hewitt Society and Queen’s University Befast. This year the lecture will be on the theme of “No Place Like Home” and will be delivered by Dr Michael Hughes, Queen Mary University of London. Michael was born and raised in Keady, Co Armagh, but has lived most of his adult life in England. He will reflect on his own ideas of home, in his life and his fiction, and what this elusive notion means to those who have chosen to live away from their native land.
