The far-right’s recent widespread agitation and violence demands a strong response from those concerned with the protection and support of migrant and refugee communities.
We at the John Hewitt Society believe that it is an important responsibility to welcome strangers—those who, for whatever reason, have found themselves in an unfamiliar culture.
Migrants and refugees are welcome here and they become our valued neighbours. A small minority will not destroy this bond.
